The University of Santo Tomas – Central Student Council recently started their one-year long initiative to transform their campus into a proactive community directed towards refinement and progressive initiatives.
This year, the UST Central Student Council chooses to move further and turn that vision into reality.
Along with their sustainable efforts, they had become more than certain that as one student body, to turn themselves into a greener campus— a #GreenerUST!
This project is spearheaded by their elected CSC Auditor, Adrian Lee Fernando, together with his team Jan Rafael Lipat, Maria Alexandra Eugenio and Luigi Miguel Infante. The first phase of this development began last September 17 and 18 at the University of Santo Tomas. And the next phases will be scheduled on these dates:
- GreenerUST Phase 2: The Greener Congress – November 27, 2018
- GreenerUST Phase 3 – March 5, 2019
- GreenerUST Phase 4 – May 7, 2019
For the past few days, they have paved avenues in order to protect our environment and to practice our discipline in maintaining a clean and green UST.
May these strong initiatives move further as they progress in the following months to come. So make sure to support and follow their plan in the coming days to come. This is definitely a venture to watch out and followed by other campuses!
