After Universal Studios Japan finally opened its doors to the much-awaited Super Mario World, it is now ready to take on a new project involving the hottest anime franchise right now!

The famous theme park will be teaming up with the creators of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” to launch a new attraction this autumn to winter season.

It is unknown what kind of attraction it will be but according to the official announcement, guests will be able to “experience the breathing techniques with their whole bodies” of the anime’s beloved characters, such as Tanjiro’s Water Breathing technique. We’re thinking that it might either be a 4D ride or a virtual reality show though we’re not entirely sure about it yet. Guess we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled for future updates!

Universal Studios Japan’s “Demon Slayer” attraction is scheduled to open on September 17 this year and run through February 13, 2022.

The “Demon Slayer” series is currently one of the best-selling manga of all time and has received critical acclaim over the years. “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Movie — Mugen Train” dethroned Studio Ghibli’s “Spirited Away’s” 19-year streak as the highest-grossing film of all time in Japan when it premiered in 2020.
