A 15-Year-Old Just Set The New World Record For Solving A Rubik’s Cube

What were you doing when you were 15 years old? We bet you weren’t beating world records then. In fact, this 15-year-old boy named Patrick Ponce has all our butts collectively kicked after he just broke the world record for solving a Rubik’s Cube!

And just how fast did he solve this Rubik’s Cube? 4.69 seconds.

Patrick broke the record at the Rally In The Valley 2017 competition in Virginia, United States. According to reports, the teen was given the chance to hold and study the cube before his timer officially started.

21-year-old Feliks Zemdegs previously held the record at 4.73 seconds, which he set last year. How Patrick was able to beat this record by literally a hundredths of a second is amazing!

The 15-year-old has joined about 40 Rubik’s Cube competitions, yet this is his first world record.
