Filipino Actors Bianca Umali and Sam Concepcion to be included in HBO Series

A representative from GMA-7 and ABS-CBN is set to be a part of HBO’s series entitled Halfworlds.

GMA-7 actress Bianca Umali and ABS-CBN actor Sam Concepcion are expected to be on the series’ third season. The series is a dark fantasy thriller that tells stories about Asian folklores that are produced by HBO Asia. The first two seasons were shot in Jakarta Indonesia from 2015 to 2017.

The third season of Halfworlds will be shot in the Philippines, directed by Mikhail Red who is known for his movies Eerie and Dead Kids.

The series were announced in November 2019 in Singapore where Bianca and Direk Mikhail attended the event.

According to a social media post by @kapusoprgirl, Bianca will play a character named Alex who is a half-engkanto.
