As if! If you grew up in the 90s like I did, then you should know Amy Heckerling’s movie ‘Clueless’ starring Alicia Silverstone, Brittany Murphy, and Paul Rudd, which came out in 1995. And if you loved the movie as much as I did, then you’re probably not too sold on Paramount Pictures turning Cher and Dionne into this generation’s version of IT girls, either.
In case you didn’t know, ‘Clueless’ is actually a modern spin of Jane Austen’s novel ‘Emma’… and an adaptation of ‘Emma’ is actually already in the works starring Anya Taylor-Joy. How different it will be to the upcoming remake of ‘Clueless’ remains to be seen.
There are no full details of the remake yet, but Tracy Oliver, writer of ‘Girls Trip’ will be part of it as the producer and Marquita Robinson, writer of ‘GLOW’, will be part of it as the scriptwriter.

Rumor also has it that they will be casting new actors in the lead roles. We don’t know if that means new unknown characters or new like Noah Centenio, anyone? (A girl can dream.)
