Every year during the Christmas season, Philippine cinemas focus solely on Filipino films. From December 25 until the first weekend of January the following year, an annual film festival is held called the Metro Manila Film Festival or the MMFF. Today, the eight movies that will be shown at the end of this year have finally been announced. Here they are:
