Other than the Le Tour de Filipinas which is happening in February, another prestigious cycling tournament is coming to the Philippines: the 7th  World University Cycling Championship!

According to reports, this would be the first time the World University Cycling Championship will be held outside of Europe and the first in Asia, where the best collegiate cyclist from at least 17 countries will compete in the event on March 16-20 in Tagaytay.
The WUCC will have four main races: the road race (122 km); criterium (80-km) ; cross country Olympic (35-km); and the cross country Eliminator (1.2-km), says reports.
The route of the road race, which would be approximately 122 km, will start in Tagaytay city and pass by the winding roads of Nasugbu in Batangas to Naic, Cavite. Then an uphill battle back to Tagaytay city through Indang and Mendez.
