Groupfies are usually taken during special occasions such as an out-of-town trip, a family reunion, a concert, or at a party! It’s really a subtle way of letting everyone know that, hey, you have a social life too, and there are people who would just love to take a photo with you!
6. Throwback photos
No longer just done on Thursdays or #TBT, throwback photos are best reserved for days when you feel like reminiscing and wishing that life would be simpler. People have now created more excuses to post photos of the past such as #WaybackWednesdays and #FlashbackFridays… maybe Pinoys are just really senti that way!
5. Food pics
And of course, how can we forget the classic #foodpic?? This is the reason why we eat most of our food cold nowadays when we’re out dining– we’re too busy trying to get the PERFECT #foodgasmic angle! With great hotness (aesthetically) comes great fashion!! Thanks to multitudes of style and fashion bloggers, we’ve all learned how to take the perfect OOTD! This includes the fashion blogger/model pose with legs crossed, face turned to the side, and a totally on-point outfit! When In Manila’s Isabel Rodriguez is doing one heck of a job here!

Need I say more?? The Philippines is the selfie capital of the world, after all!
