59B Swordfish is a newly opened Airbnb in the heart of Subic Bay Freeport Zone. It’s quite literally a hidden gem because unless you look closely, you probably wouldn’t even notice that a beautifully designed property was sitting in the midst of modest houses.
59B Swordfish features a gorgeous modern industrial design with handpicked furniture carefully curated by the property owners. This was honestly one of the things we most loved about the property: that everything was intentionally designed!
The sofa and the various chairs around the custom dining table came from secondhand furniture stores, and there are a lot of cozy seating options around the home that will keep you relaxed for the whole stay.
Upon stepping into this home, you’ll find a gorgeous mid-century style booth that was easily one of our favorite corners in 59B Swordfish. This booth has a white table, two separate chairs, and a lamp—the perfect space for working, cozying up with a book, or even having a cup of coffee and deep conversations.
In this same space is a heavenly bean bag chair next to books and board games. This specific chair is so cozy, so don’t be surprised if you actually fall asleep while sitting on it.
The modern living room features a 65-inch smart TV where you can binge-watch all weekend, but they also have a cute retro-style Super Mario game console you can play with. Talk about nostalgic 90’s feels!
If you’re planning to go to Subic with the family or barkada to enjoy a hearty home-cooked feast, you can do that at this property, too. They have a fully equipped kitchen, a massive dining space that can seat up to 10 people, and an outdoor dining space with a grill!
Honestly, even their backyard is a great space for relaxing, especially with the hammock and the quietness of the area.

This property also has a metal-frame pool that you can add to your stay. But, if you’re not planning on going for a dip during your stay, you can leave the backyard as it is and just enjoy the space for hanging out or grilling.
59B Swordfish has 4 bedrooms and can fit up to 16 people. The home can surely accommodate the whole family and more.

This Airbnb actually welcomes pets with open arms—so much so that there’s even a dedicated pet room on the property!

The pet room is probably one of the best things I’ve seen in a vacation home rental. It’s spacious, well-ventilated, and has cat climbing frames and a scratching post. Your fur babies will surely enjoy the staycation experience just as much as you do.
We truly loved how even the smallest details in this home made our stay extra memorable and relaxing. It’s evident how 59B Swordfish was designed with guests’ comfort in mind.
