1. Drink water. Lots of it. It’ll keep you fuller and less likely to overeat.

2. If you’re craving for something but you’re not sure what it is, try identifying the “base” taste. If you’re craving for something sweet, try filling your cravings with something sweet like fruit or milk, rather than reaching for the nearest candy. If it’s something salty, try munching on nuts.

3. If you must have chocolate, have a small amount of dark chocolate with you. Dark chocolate is healthy and rich in antioxidants.

4. Stay away from salty snacks. While this may seem like common sense, when you’re exposed to salty food, your body craves it more.

5. Eat on blue plates. Studies show that blue, unlike red which stimulates the appetite, is a natural appetite suppressant.
