5 Things You Missed at the Howlin Beach Party

Halloween is not just about kids, candies and dressing up. It is also about celebrating with your loved ones–including your furry friends.

During the Howlin’ Beach Party: A Spooktacular Halloween Dogtoberfest held at Acuaverde, it was a fun-filled day as dogs and their owners unleashed cuteness through different games, a fashion show, and a talent show. Organized by Paws and Tails Event Concepts and Management in collaboration with the Philippine Golden Retrievers group, the Dogtoberfest worked with Acuaverde which is a pet-friendly destination where the whole family can enjoy.

5. Cute Dogs in Costumes

A Halloween celebration will not be complete without some cute costumes. Our little furry friends are some serious fashion killas! These two chihuahuas were with complete gear. Their accessories move too!

4. Food Feast

It was a feast for everyone as both dogs and human munched on delectable dishes prepared by Acuaverde. The dogs also participated in a eating contest where they were served freshly cooked pasta. And because everyone finished really fast, the judge had to choose a winner based on the cleanest plate.

3. Prizes and Giveaways

Aside from all the fun things in the program, everyone got a chance to take home something for their dogs. The generous sponsors gave away food, shampoos, accessories, discount vouchers, and even a pet stroller!

2. Squad Goals

Ginger the dog with her owner showed everyone how it’s like to be a paw-tastic duo. Ginger showed some tricks and how she and her master can do anything and everything together. No leash needed because Ginger is one of the most well trained dog we’ve ever seen.

1. Popstar

There was a popstar at the event and it comes in the form of this little chihuahua. She took the stage to sing her owner a rendition of Jason Derulo and the Little Mix’s Secret Love Song. I bet she sings better than most of us.

Dogtoberfest is an annual celebration of the Philippine Golden Retrievers and we hope they can celebrate more often so we can see many of these cute dogs!
