Most of us understand the struggle of having to prepare one’s meal (not to mention the dreadful cleaning-up process after) or choosing among tons of fast-food chains and diners just to satisfy our gastronomic needs. After a long day of hustle from work or school, that is probably the least thing we would want to do – at least for some of us who have a love-hate relationship with the kitchen. Not everyone is blessed with magical cooking skills, after all.
The good thing is, you won’t have to worry about what to get for your dinner because it can be delivered right to your doorstep. Forget about the cooking and the cleaning up—City Chef will do it for you! I tried City Chef for a few days and here’s what I loved most about their food and service.
5. They deliver “just in time for dinner” for FREE
You want your dinner prepared right exactly or even before you get home? City Chef delivers on their promise to serve your dinner between 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – absolutely perfect for dinner time! And the good deal is, wherever you are in Metro Manila, you won’t have to worry about additional charges because they will deliver your meal for free.
4. They serve a variety of sumptuous meals and flavorful dishes
Say goodbye to your boring dinners! Beef, fish, vegetable–name it! City Chef offers a variety of food selections that will surely complement your appetite throughout the week. Packed in microwavable tupperwears, their meals instantly transform from delivered goods to restaurant-grade meals when transferred to your own plate. It’s like treating yourself to a dine out–except you’re at home. Longganisa, Spaghetti, and Roast Chicken Breast with Gravy are my personal favorites!
3. City Chef assures that their dishes are made with fresh ingredients
When I say fresh, I really mean FRESH. You can guarantee that the quality of ingredients is not compromised by the affordability of their meals. You can taste the sweetness of real tomatoes in their spaghetti unlike most commercialized pasta available in the market. City Chef delivers meals that are rather savory than salty; just in case you worry about the level of sodium content. You’d surely love how flavorful and tender their roast chicken is (not to mention how green and crisp the leaves of lettuce in their salad are!).
2. City Chef offers easy-access payment methods
City Chef cares about more than your meal by ensuring overall quality service not only through good customer care, but also by providing payment methods that will not cause you any inconvenience. Not all food delivery services offer credit card payment which is why this is a plus for City Chef. If you don’t have a credit card, you may opt to send your payment through bank deposit.
1. They offer solo and family serving sizes
Whether you share your place with someone or you live independently, City Chef crafts the perfect dinner for you because they offer solo and family serving sizes – a choice not always available at other food delivery services. Their serving portions are moderate enough to make sure two to three people are full. For as low as P250/day for a solo serving size or P450/day for a family serving size, you’ll get the perfect dinner minus the inconvenience. And oh, did I already mention that you’ll also receive a City Chef tumbler and an exclusive set of their cute stickers on your first order?
If you’re reluctant of ordering from food delivery service, you will definitely not regret giving City Chef a try. They have been serving sumptuous meals at an affordable price over the past 10 months (and counting!). As they promise, “you do the living, they do the cooking.”
