5 Quiet Destinations When You Want to Avoid the Crowd

Some of us may not be interested diving into the crowd especially if you just want to chill and relax.

Hence, we came up with a list of some of the mellower destinations where you can enjoy some quiet time alone or with some of your closest friends.

Since it is still summer, you may want to pay one of these destinations (or all) a visit to have a reset.

On these beaches, you can just read a book, lounge by the shore, or just take all in the salty sea air in your lungs.

Here are some of the less-party-and-more-chillax destinations you should consider.

5. Pannzian in Pagudpud

To get to Pannzian Beach, it’s best to ride the Florida Bus bound to Junction Luna/Claveria in their terminal located in Espana Manila (near UST). We recommend you take the 8pm trip so you will arrive after 10 hrs (that’s the fastest). The fare is around P750 per head. This bus will drop you off exactly at Pannzian Beach, just don’t forget to tell the driver and conductor.

4. Tangadan Falls in La Union

Surfing is the first thing that comes to mind when we say La Union, but surfing aside, there are other things that you can do there during the summer, as well. Around 45 minutes away from San Juan La Union, Tangadan Falls, you can find a nice area for cliff diving and swimming.

3. Bani in Pangasinan

Perhaps one of the greatest treasures Bani keeps is the largely unexplored cave with the unofficial name of Angel. This Class 1 cave is located on a private land in Centro Toma and contains a fragile and complex ecosystem. Its caverns are filled with subterranean pools and waterfalls as well as an array of rare and incredible calcite formations. Because of its sensitive nature, Angel Cave remains closed to tourists.

2. Malabrigo Beach in Lobo, Batangas

Malabrigo Beach is a not-so-ordinary beach that doesn’t have white sand, but pebbles. Aside from quiet, it is a cheap destination that can cost only P5o0 to visit.

1. Aguirangan Island, Bicol

Thinking of going to Caramoan? Avoid the crowds and stay in Aguirangan instead. The idyllic coastline is mostly uninhabited, with a vibrant coral reef, which you can see because the waters are clear. Because of this, the island is a great spot for snorkeling and scuba diving. Apart from the beach, you can take a 20 minute boat ride to Barangay Kinahulogan, where you can see the Kinahulogan Falls.

To get to Aguirangan Island, you can ride a bus from Cubao or Pasay to Naga and Camarines Sur (you can also fly). From Naga, you can take a van or bus to Sabang Port in San Jose, followed by a boat ride to the island.
