48 Percent of Examinees Pass Nurse Licensure Examination

When in Manila, the Professional Regulation Commission announced last Saturday that a total of 37,513 out of 78,135 passed the Nurse Licensure Examination given by the Board of Nursing last July. Jomel Garcia Lapides of University of the Philippines-Manila topped the exam with a rating of 88.4 percent.

Three schools were tied for the number one spot on the Top 10 Performing Schools for each getting a 100% passing rate on their examinees. Those are Cebu Normal

University with 181 examinees, West Visayas State University with 161, and University of the Philippines-Manila with 57.
