Empoy Marquez: yesterday’s comedian, today’s leading man.
After his pairing with Alessandra de Rossi proved to be a massive hit in the indie film “Kita Kita”, it seems that Empoy has no other way to go but up with the stream of projects he’s been receiving lately!
The comedian just renewed his contract with Star Cinema, and will be getting to work soon. For his next project, however, he’s revealed a new co-star: sexy actress Ellen Adarna!
Empoy confirmed the news, however, declined to give other details about the project as it’s still “in development”. The comedian joked that Ellen’s pairing was “for a change”.
The comedian will also see another team-up with 22-year-old actress Shy Carlos in the comedy movie “The Barker”, directed by Dennis Padilla.
For fans of the Alessandra-Empoy team-up however, no need to fret: the two will also be reuniting in an upcoming drama show by Dreamscape, produced by Piolo Pascual, who also produced “Kita Kita”.
