The No Window Hours policy on the number coding schemeย has been extended for another six months, according to local reports!
The MMDA announced the decision on Monday, after consulting with the Metro Manila Council (MMC), the agencyโs policy-making body, and the Inter-Agency Council on Traffic (I-ACT), which is composed of the Department of Transportation, Land Transportation Office, Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, and the Philippine National Police- Highway Patrol Group.
According to the MMDA, the suspension of the window hours, which used to be from 10am to 3pm for vehicle plate numbers banned on certain days, has made traffic conditions lighter along major roads.
