10th Annual Apollo Ultimate Frisbee Tournament To Be Held at Alabang Country Club

The stars are aligning. Don’t blink, you might miss it.

It’s that time of the year again. Another Apollo Mission is set to take off! Forty-eight teams. Four hundred eighty (480) brave explorers. One two-day 10-players-per-team Ultimate Frisbee tournament! Be sure to be there and to be prepared, since this will be a no-substitutions tournament of epic proportions. Join UP DUO and the rest of the Ultimate community this December, as we embark towards an Ultimate Frisbee battle for the cosmos at the Alabang Country Club!

Apollo is one of the most awaited UP DUO (Diliman Ultimate Organization) Ultimate Frisbee tournaments. It is a yearly tournament designed to boost camaraderie among players from all over the country through a healthy yet challenging competition. The tournament not only invites veteran Ultimate players to join but also any newcomers who share in the love for the sport. For the tenth consecutive year, UP DUO is proud to present this year’s Apollo X: Odyssey. The tournament will be held from December 7 to December 8 at the Alabang Country Club. 

The UP Diliman Ultimate Organization (UP DUO) is a duly recognized university-wide non-profit student organization of the University of the Philippines Diliman which aims to create a community that lets its members grow as players and showcase their skills in Ultimate. The organization was founded in 2009 and has been competing in and organizing major Philippine Ultimate Tournaments (National Ultimate Collegiate Championship and Apollo) ever since. UP DUO is continuing to expand, and is open to everyone (whether UP student or not) interested in learning Ultimate Frisbee.

Who will shine the brightest? Get ready, because our Odyssey into the stars is about to begin.
