5. Unmei Nihongo

Priding itself in being the Number One Japanese Language Center in the Philippines, Unmei Nihongo Center is committed to providing its students the best learning environment, study tools, and instructors.

The courses they offer are designed to help you pass each JLPT exam, beginning with the N5, so each course can take 150 hours to complete. However, there are quicker classes you can enroll in if you just want to learn the basics.

Classes are held during both weekdays and weekends.

4. Korean Cultural Center

The Korean Cultural Center arranges tons of special events to deepen the appreciation for Korean culture, and they also hold language classes for those interested to learn Korean. Courses vary from Beginner, Elementary, and Intermediate with course fees ranging from PHP 2,000 to PHP 3,000. Classes are held one to three times a week, depending on your chosen course.

3. Goethe-Institut Philippinen

German may not be a popular language to learn, but if you have dreams of visiting, studying, or working in Europe, you’d best head on over to Goethe-Institut. They offer standard German courses from A1 to C2 which can span from 8 weeks (with 5-times-a-week meetings) to 11 weeks (with once-a-week meetings), depending on the chosen intensiveness of your study.

Registration fee costs PHP 19,500 per course excluding materials.

2. Società Dante Alighieri Manila

Italian is also quite a convenient language to learn ahead of your travel plans to Europe, and no other school in Manila teaches it best than Società Dante Alighieri. Named after the Italian poet who wrote The Divine Comedy series, Società Dante Alighieri allows its students to fall deeply in love with Italian culture just as much as its language. You can enroll online for beginner, intermediate, or advanced classes, and even take the PLIDA certification exam there!

Registration fee costs PHP 7,000 inclusive of course materials, and classes are held for 10 sessions every Saturday.

1. The Study by Enderun College

The Study, a language center established by Enderun College, serves as a place for students to discover or deepen their knowledge on their language of choice. It offers a wide range of languages, including French, Spanish, Japanese, Mandarin, Russian, Italian, Vietnamese, German, Portuguese, and more! They have one-on-one classes for those who would like to have their own personal tutor; private group classes for friends who’d like to study together; and open group classes.

Course fees range from PHP 25,300 to PHP 42,900 for 40-hour classes depending on your chosen class type. Although, you have the option to adjust the duration to suit your needs.

Students who enroll here will also receive exclusive access to The Study Social Club and its monthly gatherings where you can meet and befriend plenty of other people from different courses.
