The promising singer-songwriter duo, Ben&Ben, is set to launch their FIRST self-titled debut EP with a concert this December 17, 2016 at Teatrino at Promenade, Greenhills.
Ben&Ben, formerly known as The Benjamins, was formed by twin brothers Paolo and Miguel Guico in 2015. Their music is mostly made up of lyrics and stories about love, life, inspiration and everything in between. The melodies are influenced by a diverse range of genres, predominantly folk, world and pop. The duo is also known for incorporating elements of ethnic music in the arrangements of their songs. This EP launch is a major step to pursue their FIRST IMPRINT in the Filipino Music Industry.
This independently-produced first EP of Ben&Ben compromises six (6) original tracks showcasing the lyrical craftsmanship and musicality of Paolo and Miguel. It talks about the various personal journeys of people, either in relation to love, heartbreak and self-discovery. It evokes the experience of celebrating life as a journey filled with many adventures.
On the evening of 17th of December, they will be joined by known local artists in the music scene who have been part of the growth of Ben&Ben such as Noel Cabangon, JohnoyDanao, Cooky Chua, Bayang Barrios and more.
