When I first entered the dental clinic, I was a bit surprised at the ambiance of the receiving area. The clinic is small but very cozy. Cozy, now that’s a word that’s not used often to describe any kind of clinic but surprisingly this is the first impression that I got. It helped that there was warm lighting and the use of side drapes and luscious fabrics in the interior. There’s even a small recovery room that looks very inviting. I loved the built-in tufted padded wall and again the plush fabrics used as upholstery.
Dr. Karla Domingo carries a degree in Dentistry from the University of the Philippines. She immediately took an externship at PGH right after. At a young age she already pursued postgraduate studies at the University of Alabama in Birmingham where she received her certificate in Implant Training Program and MS in Clinical Dentistry. As you can see, she is more than qualified to render dental services.
What sets the dental consultation I’ve had with Dr. Karla from other dentist clinics I’ve been to is the personalized consultation that she offers. She attends to your dental needs according to your lifestyle, hence the time she allots in getting to know her patients. My impression was that she was very sincere in engaging in a lively conversation with me while at the same time giving me dental tips from time to time. Her eagerness to make the visit as comfortable as possible is another thing that makes this dentist visit something to look forward to on my next appointment.
Thankfully, I had no cavities. Yay! I had a basic rundown of dental hygiene (which all of us should know and remember by the way) and also of the importance of going to the dentist even if we have busy lives and schedules.
