Friends may have finished 13 years ago, but that doesn’t mean the hype is over. After all, the theme song goes, “I’ll be there for you.” Now, fans can relive the misadventures of the gang with Friends! The Musical!
Okay, the musical isn’t an official project, but fans will surely love to see what Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler, and Ross are up to since the series finale in 2004.
Friends followed the lives of six friends navigating life and love in New York City. Since it premiered in 1994, it launched the careers of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer.
The show has also become a pop culture phenomenon, frequently ranking in “best of” lists. It was nominated for 62 Emmy Awards.
Friends! The Musical! is developed by Bob and Tobly McSmith, who previously developed the parody musicals Full House! The Musical!, Bayside! The Musical (Saved by the Bell), Katdashians! The Musical! and 90210! The Musical.

The show will sell tickets starting June, and will open this fall at New York’s Triad Theater.
