Fans of the Bad Boys movie and sequel, we have great news: Bad Boys 3 and 4 are happening!
The third installment in the franchise will be called Bad Boys for Life, and will be screened on January 12, 2018.
There is still no word what it will be about, but it will pick up on the story of Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey, two Miami-based narcotic detectives. Burnett and Lowrey are portrayed by Martin Lawrence and Will Smith. Bad Boys came out in 1995 and enjoyed commercial success, and was followed by its sequel in 2003.
Michael Bay directed the first two films, but won’t return for the third. Bad Boys for Life will be directed by Joe Carnahan.
Bad Boys 4 will premiere on July 3, 2019.
