Were you a fan of ‘The X-Files‘ back in the 90s? I was. I even had posters up on my walls stating that “I believe in aliens” and that “the truth is out there” and all sorts of other X-Files-related things. Yeah. When I was a child, aliens were just the coolest things – and ‘The X-Files’ is what started that whole trend in my life.
In case you have never heard of ‘The X-Files’ before, it was a 10-season science fiction series in the 90s that touched on unexplained, out-of-this-world (literally) cases. It starred David Duchovny as Fox Mulder, the guy who believed in conspiracy theories, and Gillian Anderson as Dana Scully, the realist of the duo. It was a pop culture phenomenon that hit the world – and our minds and hearts – by storm.
Of course, David and Gillian no longer look like the way that they do in the photo above, but Fox has just revealed that they will be releasing another 10 new episodes of ‘The X-Files’ soon. Of course, this isn’t the first time Mulder and Scully will be back. Last year, they returned as Mulder and Scully to great success; and because of this, the show will be back for a second time. How awesome is that?
