Will Smith’s Heavily Criticized Netflix Film ‘Bright’ is Getting a Sequel

Whatever the critics are saying, the Netflix film ‘Bright,’ starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton, is getting a sequel.

Netflix confirmed the news on Twitter through a goofy clip featuring the orc actors doing mock auditions for the film.

The Netflix film received a disheartening 28% rating from the movie review aggregator, Rotten Tomatoes, which only means that it didn’t sit well with the critics. The viewers, however, have a different reaction to it, as it received a healthy 87% Audience Score.

‘Bright’ is directed by American film director and producer David Ayer. The sequel has no official release date yet, but Ayer is reportedly going to direct it again, with Smith and Edgerton returning to the cast.
