Will Sharon Play Janet Napoles in Comeback Movie?
When Megastar Sharon Cuneta left TV5 after a public partnership that resulted in Sharon getting P1 billion richer, she posted clues on social media about a mysterious project in the works. Could it be a starring role as Janet Lim Napoles, who made headlines herself for her part in the pork barrel scam?
According to rumors, Sharon will play Janet in an upcoming biopic, while her real-life daughter KC Concepcion will play Janet’s daughter, Jeane Napoles. But it turned out to be only a rumor, as Sharon herself addressed the issue. According to her:
Why is there a rumor going around that my comeback movie will be based on the Janet Lim Napoles story, and with KC playing the role of her daughter? No one has spoken to me about this, and so it is totally untrue.
I already have a comeback project waiting, and with a company that has my full trust and respect.
There’s still no word on what the project would be, but she said she is moving to a still unidentified network.
And I already have a fabulous network to work for after TV5, which I have known I was moving to since August.
