Why the Seattle Seahawks’ Doug Baldwin Flew the Philippine Flag Red Up (upside down)

At a recent American Football game, the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks’  Doug Baldwin carried the Philippine Flag out onto the field for ‘Yolanda’ victims.

On why the flag was inverted, the team responded:

@migzmoldez @DougBaldwinJr We are fighting the devastation of #Haiyan which has been worse than many war-torn regions of the world.
— Seattle Seahawks (@Seahawks)

The Philippine flag was flown upside down, red up, to address the devastation brought by Yolanda.

GO HAWKS!! GO PHILIPPINES!!
