Why Kobe Paras Has a Chance to be the Next Big Thing

As one Kobe exits the basketball court, another Kobe enters.

And his name is Kobe Paras.

Sharing the same name as the basketball legend that’s bound for retirement after three more games, Kobe Paras has began making a name for himself. And after a Bleacher Report feature on the young athlete went out late Thursday, he might just be on the right track

According to the BR feature, Kobe Paras has lived up to the hype of his summer stints, especially after his 43-point performance with the Middlebrooks Academy last February turned the limelight on him.

Viral videos aside, the rangy athlete is doing his part on the floor, getting the attention of scouts and high school hoop analysts with a strong showing on the summer circuit. With range that extends to three and an ever-improving handle, 247Sports ranks him as a top-10 player in California.” says the report

And things are just starting for Kobe – the younger son of PBA Legend Benji Paras – as he suits up for UCLA in the coming 2016-2017 US NCAA season under a four-year scholarship.

If  it’s one thing, he’s well on his way to reaching every ballers dream of being in the NBA.

What are your thoughts on Kobe Paras’ growing career?
