With each team having played all their 82 games in yet another crazy season of the NBA, the regular season finally comes to an end. But there’s more basketball to be played, and now with the stakes higher, and the action more intense than ever, welcome to the NBA playoffs.
Out of the 30 teams, only 16 remained to prove that they are the best in the world of shooting hoops. Here are the teams that will be battling it out in the playoffs.
After having a close battle with the (2) Cleveland Cavaliers, the (1) Boston Celtics have managed to clinch the number 1 seed from the East. The (8) Chicago Bulls and the (7) Indiana Pacers also get a spot in the playoffs after the Miami Heat had been eliminated from the race. The other teams playing in the Eastern playoffs are the (3) Toronto Raptors, (4) Washington Wizards, (5) Atlanta Hawks, and (6) Milwaukee Bucks.
On the other hand, the (1) Golden State Warriors have clinched the number 1 seed from the West, as expected, with the (2) San Antonio Spurs and (3) Houston Rockets coming in at second and third, respectively. The (8) Portland Trailblazers, (7) Memphis Grizzlies, (6) Oklahoma City Thunder, (5) Utah Jazz, and the (4) L.A. Clippers will also be taking a shot at winning the Western Conference Championship.
