During an interview at Tonight with Boy Abunda, young actress Liza Soberano was asked whether on-screen partner Enrique Gil is the man of her dreams, she answered: “Definitely he’s not the man of my dreams. Kasi dati, sympre when you’re young may iniisip kang prince charming mo eh. Hindi siya ‘yun eh.” [Rough Translation: Because, before, when you’re young, you have this image of your very own prince charming, and for me, that’s not Enrique.]
She proceeds to describe her “prince” when she was younger. The actress elaborates, “Ang prince charming ko nun, [Rough Translation: My prince charming back then,] well, I have this big crush when I was little. He was a boy from our church. He was the son of the pastor, and he would play the drums. He didn’t really know me, but I just like to look at him from a far.”
But when asked who Enrique is in her life, Liza admits: “No promo intended or anything, but really when I started working with Quen, my dreams started coming true.”
