At When in Manila we like to have fun. That’s why we threw the When in Manila Meet ‘n Greet!

The night started off at Scarlet Wine Lounge in the Fort Strip. The goal of the night? To have a blast! And what would a web magazine do with out some networking! As our friends started showing up we started our very own WiMgo game (we know, we’re sooo clever), where we forced our guests to ask ridiculous questions.
‘Can you drink a beer in 20 seconds?’ and ‘do you have a unique talent or tattoo?’. Purely for business/networking purposes!
We also got to hear from a bunch of the different writers. Some had funny stories, others danced for us or performed spoken word pieces. It really encompassed the family mentality that When in Manila has–everyone is always welcome and everyone has a voice. Senior writers help newbies and newbies bring new ideas to the team! It’s a win win.
After a delicious dinner provided by Scarlet Wine Lounge, we moved on to the WiMGo prizes. Free shoes, gift bags and one lucky winner went home with an overnight hotel stay for 2!
I’m so happy that I was able to become part of this encouraging, enlivening and caring family. No matter what I end up doing in life I know that When in Manila will always have my back!!
