I’ve been in Boracay countless times and on different seasons but I always keep coming back. This island brings such charm that it lures me to this paradise every time. True, some people don’t like it here because they say it’s getting commercialized and there are lots of people around. But then again, to me, it’s an island where adventure always happens. It involves the people you encounter on the island who have the same purpose in Boracay as you do – vacation!
The Boracay island is known for its silky soft white sand, the parties, reggae and acoustic music, shakes, watersports and the beautiful sunset. It’s an island of everything! It’s perfect for barkada trips, family, couples and corporate functions.
Boracay was also the perfect venue for the final round of the Nestea Fit Camp Hot 2010. Boracay island was perfect for their biggest summer campaign. Last April 22-24, we painted the whole stretch of Boracay Red (from station 1 to station 3). They hosted 4 games around the island namely Beach Volleyball, Beach Ultimate Frisbee, Touchball and Basketball shoot-outs, hereby promoting a very fit summer by involving everyone with sports and cooling down and re-hydrating everyone with the Tea.
At the end of the day, when the sun is down and the games are over, we also hosted parties all around Boracay. The parties were graced by famous celebrities such as Joem Bascon, Derek Ramsay, Karylle, the Camp Hotties, the Frat Pack of Jam 88.3 with Mike, Tracy and Lambert, the Philippine All-Stars, Parokya ni Edgar and hot DJ Nina who spinned for us.
It was a three-day party I was glad to witness! This makes the event a must-do for summer. So remember to join the Camp Hot activities in Manila next year also for a chance to be brought to their next summer destination. I don’t have word on their plans for next year yet but I’m sure it will be as exciting as this one.
In the meantime, When In Manila, do be sure to have lots of fun on the beaches.
