At the recent reveal at Salon de Ning, we were able to delve into their minds and find out what they love to watch on iflix!

“I love TV shows – ever since I was small. I just finished Modern Family,” Karylle shares. She says she also gets laughs from Running Man. “I love how Asians are kengkoy,” she quips. If you are a fan of Karylle, you will be happy to hear that her old fantasy drama Encantadia with Iza is available on iflix, as well! On the news that there might be a remake of their old show, Karylle shares, “We’re supposed to have a reunion this year, it’s our 10th year anniversary. A remake would be exciting.”
Karylle also shares that she is very proud to be a part of the iflix family. She says, “They are doing an incredible job changing the way people are entertained throughout the Philippines, Asia, and soon – the world.”
Iza Calzado, on the other hand, likes F.R.I.E.N.D.S., Woody Allen films and is about to watch Scandal. She says she loves iflix because she doesn’t have to make an effort to download TV shows and movies. Iza also shares that she can finally go and watch Encantadia again because she never got a complete set before. “Everything is now on our mobile devices. People don’t have the patience, energy or time to wait for their favorite shows to come on at a certain time anymore. We all wanna do our own thing. I think it’s liberating.”
On how iflix can help the entertainment industry, Iza says, “I think it can help with creating more content and giving people more jobs. They don’t have that pressure to rate which gives creative freedom.”
For Raymond Gutierrez, the last movie he was obsessed with was Mad Max, but he also loves watching Scandal and Dexter. “Even my brother’s old shows are there like Mulawin,” he adds.
