We May Just Have The New Einstein In Our Midst… And She’s Only 23

Albert Einstein, one of the most important scientists of our time, was considered as the smartest man in the 20th century.

And now, Harvard University seems to think that they’ve got the next Einstein in their roster — 23-year-old Sabrina Gonzalez Pasterski is already one of the most accomplished physicists in the United States. What was that again about millennials being the worst generation?

The young physicist graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a perfect GPA of 5.0, the highest possible grade one can achieve! Sabrina is now pursuing her Ph.D at Harvard with full academic freedom, which means that she can pursue her own study on her own terms, without faculty and staff intervening.

Sabrina caught the attention of the scientific community, after at just 14 years old, she single-handedly built her own single-engine airplane in 2008, where she documented the entire process on Youtube.

She also became the youngest person ever to fly their own plane, when she piloted her own aircraft herself over Lake Michigan at 16 years old.
