We’re in the news for a lot of things, and this is our latest one: RYOT, an award-winning news website, called Pasig River one of the four most polluted rivers in the world. Pasig River ranks third on their list.
According to the website:
By the 1970’s, Pasig River started to exhale offensive smells due to the increasing pollution. And since the 1990’s it’s been considered biologically dead.
Part of the list is China’s Jiang River, Indonesia’s Citarum River, and India’s Ganges River.
