The University of Santo Tomas is a favorite when it comes to photography and video shoots because of its picturesque landscape.
Just this week, a video featuring the beauty of UST went viral.
The video was created by Sebastian Valderrama. In the video’s caption, he wrote: “UST on a Lovely Sunday”
It was a lovely Sunday indeed as featured by Valderrama’s video on Facebook. The colors were bold and striking. The framing and composition put the subjects in a flattering light.

What made it mesmerizing was how the beauty of the university was shown as it is–with no students around, it was just UST itself.

Valderrama shares that he just parked in UST that Sunday when he thought of shooting a video. He says that he didn’t intend for the video to go viral; he just wanted to show people what happens in UST on a Sunday.
“I create videos kasi I love doing it and it’s my passion. Instead of just taking beautiful photos, I take videos to tell stories,” he shares.
Sebastian Valderrama is an aspiring videographer who believes that pure talent matters more than the gear. And he proves this by his video that was shot only with his phone!
