We’re all familiar with the phrase “be careful what you wish for because you just might get it.” You may have sung it to the tune of The Pussycat Dolls’ song “When I Grow Up,” but the saying has its truths. Sometimes, getting what you wish is for isn’t worth it.
That’s the lesson the characters in Wish Upon learn, when Claire is given a box that can grant her seven wishes. It has given her love and money, but like everything in life, she has to pay the price.

Wish Upon stars Joey King, Ryan Phillipe, and Ki Hong Lee. It is directed by John R. Leonetti, who directed Mortal Kombat: Annihilation and Annabelle, and was the cinematographer of The Scorpion King, I Know Who Killed Me, Piranha 3D, Insidious and Insidious: Chapter 2, and The Conjuring.
The film will premiere on June 30, 2017.
