No one ever really thinks what would happen if you light 6,000 matches at the same time. But one person did, and he recorded the event.
The YouTube account HTD posted a video titled “6000 Match Chain Reaction – Amazing Fire Domino!!!,” showing exactly just that: a beautiful inferno that took almost 15 minutes to die down.
HTD has posted other match chain reactions, including one with three floors of 7,000 matches, but the one below is our favorite.
