Good morning, Alabang! For most people, waking up in the city is to wake to fumes, traffic, and concrete. But it is different for Yuki Romeo Sacurom. Instead, he wakes up to this.

Yuki has lived in Alabang since 1989. Five years ago, he moved to a condo inside Hillsborough Village, near the West Service Road in Cupang, Muntinlupa. Just outside his window is this magnificent view of a lagoon or a part of a river blanketed in vegetation and serenaded by various birds. It seems a little bit of nature has been spared (or overlooked) by the encroaching tide of urbanization.
