Kids who grew up in the ’80s and ’90s were terrified of It, Stephen King’s novel turned TV miniseries about an evil clown. After all, clowns are scary enough, but when you add a King touch to it, it becomes scarier. Last year, it was announced that the story is getting an adaptation, and the trailer is out now!

It tells the story of a group of children terrorized by a clown who exploits the fears and phobias of its victims. The book is one of King’s most recognizable works, with Publishers Weekly announcing it was the bestselling book of 1986. The clown Pennywise was also recognized as one of the scariest clowns in pop culture.
The 2017 adaptation will have Bill Skarsgård portraying the evil clown. It will premiere on September 8, 2017.
