The popular extraterrestrial movie franchise Alien is back with its sixth installment–Alien: Covenant.
The first three Alien movies first came out in 1979, 1986, 1992, and then 1997, while the prequel series’ first installment, Prometheus, came out in 2012. Alien: Covenant is the second installment to the prequel series.
The upcoming film is about the crew of colony ship Covenant bound for a remote planet at the far side of the galaxy, where they encounter a dark and mysterious world, inhabited by the sole survivor of the previously doomed Prometheus expedition–David, played by Michael Fassbender.

Alien: Covenant is set to hit the theaters on May 2017.
