To celebrate their 15th year Anniversary and as as part of their advocacy in promoting Filipino culture, Nurture Wellness Village is proud to present to you the “Agsala Dance Group”–  a group of talented youth ages 9-12 living within the neighbourhood with a passion for dancing, choreographed by Patrick, of the Gabriella Cafe.
Agsala means “to dance” in Ilocano. Gabriela Silang, the heroine after whom their restaurant is named, was from Abra in the Northern Philippines.
The group will be presenting indigenous dances from the Northern Philippines.
Catch their performances for FREE every Saturdays from 12nn – 2pm at Nurture Wellness Village.  Income from their performances will be used for their school expenses.
