The elections are only two weeks away, and all the candidates are amplifying their campaigns with more ads, posters, and videos.
Presidential candidate Mar Roxas is going the video route, and he enlisted his son’s help to defend him against bashers.
In a 28-second video, Yale graduate Paolo Roxas reminds everyone of his father’s good traits.
He said:
Maraming naninira sa tatay ko. Pero kahit ano pang sabihin nila, hindi magnanakaw si Dad. May paggalang sa Diyos at sa karapatan ng bawat tao. Hindi niya tinalikuran ang pagiging Pilipino. Hindi siya perpekto, tao rin siya, nagkakamali, pero siya ay marangal, matalino, masipag sa trabaho, at higit sa lahat, siya ay disenteng tao.
(A lot of people are badmouthing my dad. But no matter what they say, he is not a thief. He has respect for the Lord and the rights of people. He never turned his back on his country. He is not perfect. He is only human, he makes mistakes, but he is honorable, intelligent, hardworking, and most importantly, he is a decent man.)
