David F. Sandberg is choosing to be productive during the quarantine in the US. Instead of catching up on his reading or binge-watching Netflix like many of us (me), he chose to direct a short horror film with his wife.
According to David on Twitter, “Made a new 3 minute horror short, ‘Shadowed’, together with Lotta Losten because what else are we going to do while stuck indoors.”
It’s called Shadowed and you can watch it below:
This is not the first time the two have collaborated on a short film. In 2013, they created the viral hit Lights Out, which became a full-length film in 2016. David told Entertainment Weekly, “It just happened overnight. It went viral and all of a sudden all these people wanted to talk to me — producers and agents and managers and studios — and it was really insane”
Rotten Tomatoes reviewed the film, saying, “Lights Out makes skillful use of sturdy genre tropes—and some terrific performances—for an unsettling, fright-filled experience that delivers superior chills without skimping on story.”
