And how often do you see a police officer proposing to another police officer in front of the President of the Republic?
It is rare!
Police Senior Inspector Arvin Jusmillo proposed to President Rodrigo Duterte’s aide-de-camp, Police Senior Inspector Romea Alnieza Kinang, after the president finished his speech in Butuan.
Kinang was on stage with the president when Jusmillo proposed.
He began by asking just “three minutes” from the president to do his proposal.
He said, “My beloved President sir, humihiling po ako ng tatlong minutes lang po sa ngalan ng pag-ibig, sir.” (Rough translation: I’m asking for just three minutes in the name of love sir.)

Apparently, the two have been a couple for five years already. They were supposed to get married this month, but they had a big fight and cancelled the wedding.
Jusmillo said that if Kinang agrees to marry him, he’ll have forever “para makabawi” (to prove things otherwise).
Kinang said yes and accepted Jusmillo’s flowers and ring.
