WATCH: On Earth and in Heaven, an Aerial Clip Showing the Beauty of Batanes

“Dati tinititigan lang kita pero ngayon maeexperience na kita.

This is what Guio Carlo Baniqued, a photographer and videographer, thought to himself when he first landed in one of his dream destinations—Batanes. He said that even from the plane, seated next to the window, he could already see the shoreline, the waves, the rock formations and the mountains. And he was so amazed.

What Guio experienced probably is what everyone else goes through when they go to Batanes. Undeniably a stunning province, Batanes has captured the hearts of many.

Guio shared with us this short clip he filmed from his travel, and we can’t imagine anyone not wanting to book a plane ticket to there asap after this. Watch below:

And when asked about his most favorite spot in the province, Guio said:

Fountain of Youth. When I got there actually closed na sya. Until 4:00pm lang. bBti nalang pinayaan ako ni lola na nagbabantay sa registration kasi sabi ko flight ko na bukas. Kaya mejo naawa sya, so she let me go pero balik din daw ako agad.

Thirty minutes din yung trek and after that sobrang worth it naman sya kasi sobrang lamig nung ambiance nung place. Ang lamig ng water sa pool, daming puno, and yung view is like you’re staying sa 5 star hotel. And pwede ka din mag swimming and mag-walk lang sa shoreline enjoying yung view—mountain and the sea.

Sabi ni lola when I asked bakit tinawag na Fountain of Youth? Kasi daw dun naliligo yung mga batang may sakit dati. When they take a bath dun sa pool na yun, sabi nya gumagaling daw sila. So ako naman tinry ko din mag-swim dun. After that sobrang gaan ng feeling. Siguro sa ganda na din ng place and view. Relaxing yung place, makakalimutan mo everything kahit yung ex mo. 🙂
