WATCH: NASA Releases Chilling Time-Lapse Video of Disappearing Arctic Ice

NASA recently released a chilling time-lapse video of the perennial ice in the Arctic disappearing over three decades. Arctic ice ice like plants. There is the perennial ice that stays in the Arctic all year round and the seasonal ice that builds up during winter and melts during summer.

However, in the past years, it seems that seasonal ice has become the majority in the Arctic. The vanishing ice reveals the reality of climate change. According to NASA, the current situation predicts that the Arctic will be ice-free before the century ends, as early as mid-century even.
