Mermaids aren’t strangers to local shows and films. You can probably remember that time when almost everything on film and TV was about mermaids. And now, after quite a hiatus, the legendary creatures are coming back to local screens.
Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona will be bringing mermaids back with their upcoming film, My Fairy Tail Love Story.
Regal Entertainment and The IdeaFirst Company, producers of the film, just released the teaser and it looks promising. Watch it below:
The short teaser shows Janella Salvador’s character waking up (in a beautifully designed bedroom, by the way) with a suddenly amazing singing voice and a fish’s tail instead of legs.

Even with such a short teaser, it already looks like it’s going to be a feast for the eyes–especially with shots showing us the paradise underneath the waters.
The producers have yet to release the official synopsis and release date for My Fairy Tail Love Story. Joining Janella Salvador and Elmo Magalona will be Kiko Estrada and Kiray Celis.
