Things happen when we’re drunk. We do things and say things that we may not do when we are sober. And sometimes, we can get violent.
This video shared by Yan B. shows how alcohol can impair our senses. According to his video on Facebook:
Along Timog Avenue in Quezon City. Plate number ACA 7111. Lasing na lasing yung driver tapos nang gulpi ng driver ng delivery van at nanghampas ng dumadaang kotse. Tapos nanggigitgit ng mga sasakyan. 12 am nangyari kanina lang. Di man lang hinuli ng mga pulis. Hinayaan pa magdrive kahit lasing at may mga nagrereklamo dun.
(Along Timog Avenue in Quezon City. Plate number ACA 7111. The driver was drunk. He beat up the driver of a delivery van and hit passing cars. It happened 12 midnight last night. The police didn’t even apprehend him. They even let him drive drunk even if other people complained.)
In the video, the guy who identifies as a councilor keeps cussing at Yan, who repeatedly says that the councilor is drunk. Two policemen are seen trying to restrain the councilor. It is not clear what happened before the recording starts. Yan has not responded to messages sent by the author.
