In the past few days, a rising star has been trending in social media. She has been posting quite a number of trending videos that are truly entertaining and amusing. Â At first glance, you may think that she’s a well-known news anchor and TV personality. But as you look more closely, you’d realize that something’s not quite right.
“KaladKaren Davila” has risen to become the top impersonator of news anchor and journalist Karen Davila.
She’s got it all on point–the voice, the mannerisms, the hair and makeup, and even her stance! Just this week, the two “Karens” finally met in person.
Karen Davila’s colleague, Julius Babao, was able to capture the meeting on camera. Here’s what happened:
KaladKaren seemed starstruck with meeting the “real” Karen. The journalist was also evidently very excited to meet her impersonator. She also praised KaladKaren for her amazing work in imitating her, even noting how she did the hair and makeup herself.
The video ended with KaladKaren showing her own version of Karen Davila’s iconic spiel during newscasts.
KaladKaren also posted a photo commemorating the meeting, saying that “dreams do come true.”
