Experience the sweet taste of bitterness with Kapeng Barako Club: Samahan ng mga Bitter (KBC), opening in Ortigas Center this October 2016!
Staged in coffee shops around the metro, the Palanca awarded story of KBC is an indie theater production that has connected with its audiences since 2012. While cleverly and artistically penned and directed in a cadence that is unique to the script, Juan Ekis never ceases to catch the hearts and heartaches of many through a realistic portrayal of a “Bitterkada” (Bitter + Barkada) facing an ideal they continuously refuse to obtain: love.
For a ticket price of PHP 650.00, which comes with a cup of coffee, KBC will be first brewing in the intimate space Tipsy Beans Ortigas this October 21, 22, 28, 29, November 4, and 5, 2016 at 8:00 in the evening, and the following weekends of November at a space yet to be announced.
